Melissa D'AgostinoMelissa D'AgostinoMelissa D'Agostino, M.Ed., R.C.C.

Melissa is a Counsellor with over a decade of experience in mental health and educational settings. She dedicates herself to helping individuals navigate life's challenges, joys, and complexities. Melissa works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She addresses a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning differences, professional identity, relationship struggles, disembodiment and dissociation, low confidence and self-worth, fear of failure, perfectionism, executive functioning challenges, imposter syndrome, and life transitions.

As a body-based therapist, Melissa blends traditional talk therapy with somatic interventions, offering a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the profound wisdom and connection between mind and body. Her integrated approach includes sensorimotor, emotion-focused, polyvagal, attachment, enactivism, narrative, and solution-focused therapies.

Melissa creates a warm and welcoming environment infused with a grounding presence. She fosters a nurturing space of togetherness, shared vulnerability, curiosity and care. Melissa's approach to therapy is a unique mix of intuition, science, humour, compassion, and psychoeducation. This dynamic interplay allows her to creatively walk alongside clients, supporting them on their journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.

When Melissa is not working, she enjoys all things outdoors, along with reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
